XODIAK / Identity registry

Identity registry and KYC records

Entity records, KYC tiers, and compliance events that settlement and governance can read from the same record.

Identity is a record problem before it is a checkpoint problem.

Settlement, compliance, and governance all need the same answer: what is this entity, what verification tier does it hold, and when did that change? XODIAK keeps that answer as a record, not as a folder of documents each team checks on its own.

How it works

Register the entity. Record the tier. Keep the event.

The entity registry keeps legal entities separate from natural persons. A KYC record holds the account verification tier. Every tier change is written as a compliance event, so the state used by a settlement can be traced back to the decision that set it.

  • Entity registry separate from natural persons
  • Four tiers: unverified, basic, enhanced, sovereign
  • Tier limits are enforced at the executor
  • Every tier change is a recorded compliance event

Entity registry

Companies, trusts, and other legal entities are registered as entities, not as people. Ownership and control questions stay attached to the entity record.

KYC records

Each account carries one of four verification tiers. The tier is state the executor reads before a transaction is accepted, not a note in a policy document.

Compliance events

A tier change, a review, or a status change is an event with a time and an actor. The current tier can always be explained from the event history.

What this page does not claim

XODIAK does not capture biometrics on this surface, does not operate identity kiosks, and does not provide ministry scale attestation. Travel identity is TRAVERI's lane, on TRAVERI's own surfaces and under its own claims discipline. This page covers only the entity registry and KYC records in the XODIAK stack.
